Memorial Day 2010
Holocaust Remembrance Day is a feast instituted by Law No 211, July 20, 2000 by the Italian Parliament has thus joined the international proposal to declare January 27 as a day commemorating the victims of Nazism and fascism, the Holocaust and in honor of those who have risked their lives to protect the persecuted.
The text of Article 1 of the Law defines the purpose of Memorial Day:

Association Children of the Shoah, the Holocaust Memorial Foundation, the Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan and 24 ORE Group, will hold a meeting with Liana Segre, survived the death camp at Auschwitz.
